TESTING

ADHD/Executive Functioning
The ADHD/executive functioning evaluation assesses cognitive abilities and socio-emotional functioning. This evaluation consists of one 3-4 hour testing session.
ADHD is a neurodevelopment disorder that affects our executive functioning, including attention and concentration, hyperactivity, impulsivity, organization, and planning. The three types of ADHD (see below) can impact academic and work performance, emotional regulation, and our ability to complete daily tasks. ADHD often begins in childhood and continues throughout adulthood. Comprehensive ADHD testing may lead to accommodations and recommendations that assist with functioning.
-
ADHD, Predominately Inattentive Type
-
ADHD, Predominately Hyperactive/Impulsive Type
-
ADHD, Combined Type
Our most comprehensive evaluation, the psychoeducational evaluation assesses cognitive abilities, learning skills, and socio-emotional functioning. This evaluation includes two 3-4 hour testing sessions.
Learning disorders are neurobiological and impact our confidence and performance in reading, spelling, math, and writing. Comprehensive testing and accommodations can help close the achievement gap for children and adults.
-
Dyslexia is a difficulty in reading and spelling. Individuals with dyslexia often struggle with phonological awareness, which impact their reading fluency.
-
Dyscalculia is a difficulty with understanding and applying basic math concepts consistently.
-
Dysgraphia is a graphomotor difficulty with written expression, most commonly seen in poor letter and word spacing.
